The past couple of weeks I have been using Click and Ship with no problems. I even arrange for them to pick up.

Today I signed in a started the process of buying express mail postage labels for my interenational packages.

I get to the end of the process and print the label. The label does not print. I try it again and it says card declined. I use my Pay Pal debit card for buying postage. I call Pay Pal and they said there is nothing wrong with my card. Turns out the Post Office debited my card four times. so they took my money, gave me no label and declined my card.

Pay Pal reversed the debits for me and told me not to use that card on the post office site.

I tried to contact the post office and was told the only way to get any information is to write to the post office. I can't believe there is not one live person you can talk to about a problem with their own site.

I will wait till tomorrow to try again.

Thanks for listening.

Use your card on the PayPal site. It works great & doesn't show the amt of postage. I used to use Ship & Click, but now I use PayPal.

different click and ship problems.

1. I use click and ship but take the packages to the post office to pay and ship them off so why do I have to enter the weight of the package? Is there a way around this?

2. Why arent the tracking numbers saved in the address book? Are they saved somewhere? Do I need to do something to enable saving the tracking numbers together with the address info?

3. WHy dont the fields clear after each label is done? Causes problems when I forget to update the email address of the addressee each time for delivery confirmation number emails.

4. Aside from the above and the occasional label sticking in the laser printer I really DO like click and ship!

postcardman; Why are you taking these to the PO for postage, when you can put the postage on yourself? all you have to do is have an accurate scale to weigh your object thst you are shipping. Pay{Pal will do the rest.

We are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later.

Error 3005

This is the message I get when I go to Pay Pal. I tried the post office site again and they are having problems too.

I saw PayPal had this feature, and "started" to look into it, although we are VERY happy with Endicia and U-Pic which we have used for a couple of years.

THEN sanity set in, and I realized I definitely didn't want eBay knowing what I shipped, for how much or when.

With eBay now owning PayPal, we use PayPal and their "services" as little as possible.

In the not to distant future, probably later this year, when we totally drop off eBay, we will drop PayPal also, as all of our internet web site sales are run through a merchant account, and we don’t take PayPal on our web sites.

Your problem isn't a PO problem, but a PayPal problem. PayPal will charge your card up to four times the amount and then refund it 4-7 days later. It has been a problem since the start of the PayPal card.

I don't understand why you care if eBay knows what you shipped and when. It already knows what you sold and can assume what you will ship and could care less how much you charge to ship it. IMO, that sounds a bit paranoid. More information about you than that is out there in cyberspace!

I love this service. I love the fact that you can print a label and keep the postage hidden. Now, if they'd just allow you to add insurance it would be even better.

I noticed this morning that the print label option is "temporarily" not working. If it's not working at the USPS site as well, it's a USPS problem.
