I have listings that I would like to relist before Christmas. How can I save them and relist at that time?? If I put them in Archive, they disappear before then

You can save them in inventory.
But when you launch it will not be a relist, it will be a New list.
Besides I Don't think Ebay will let you sit on a relist that long!

Save the HTML in a file.

When the time comes, relist one of your then-current auctions and plug in the HTML.

Dad: I don't have a "store." Can I still use Inventory? I've never understood how that works.

Do you use Vendio Sales Mngr.
You don't need a store to use Inventory.
When you write an auction you can save it to inventory for future use.
Or you can write your auctions at inventory for future use.
You can launch from inventory to all sites Vendio supports.
Ebay,Ebay Motors,Ebay stores.Bohoo,Amazon and Vendio Stores.
Go to sales mngr. and click on inventory from menu on left side of page.

OK, I will just put my listings in inventory from now on and they will be there when I need them, right??

Another way to "relist" (because the item will probably not be active in ebay this must be a new listing and not a "relist" is to find your unsold item by the date the original auction ended in Sales Manager->Post Sale->Unsold items.

Once the item is located you can "relist" it. Unless you have refreshed the images, they may longer be active in Vendio after 90 days.

niel35:
Yes!

When you write an auction you can save it to inventory from there.
Or
You can write your auction in inventory and leave it there till you wish to launch.

You still need to watch your photos when an item is in inventory. They still get purged if they haven't been viewed after so long. So you need to go in every couple of months and click on the photos to "view" them

You can also restore photos by regularly restoring them in the "recycle bin"

Neglus: I just looked at the recycle bin for the first time! But it appears that the photos will stay there just 14 days. Is that true? IN which case it wouldn't help to write auctions 'way ahead of time and take the photos ahead of time too?

Experimentally, I "undelected" a photo from the recycle bin and sure enough it's now in my regular pictures. Learn something new every day (or hour!)

Niel: I got to the recycle bin through "image hosting," in case you can't find it.

Roadsmith - I go to the recycle bin every couple of days and undelete all of my images - once undeleted they dont come up for deletion again for another 90 days. I have to do this because some of the images for my store items created before Vendio supported eBay stores are not attached to the listings and would be deleted..PITA but it only takes a second.

I still have my pix saved in My Pictures, so when I list again, I can just add to it, I think

Neglus: Why would you need to delete all of your images every couple of days? Or do you just go to the ones in the bin that have just gotten there??? Trying hard to understand all this. Only been at it 5 years!!!

Adele - I UNDELETE every couple of days..because I want to make sure that my store listings have images attached (these would be deleted because the listings were created BEFORE Vendio supported stores)..in other words..none of my images are ever deleted. This works well when I relist at the maximum 90 days allowed by eBay too - I deal with an horrendous number of images and it is too much of a hassle to selectively delete and undelete. The recycle bin is a godsend for me.
