When you do a search in ebay, does it include the words that are in the subtitle? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to pay for a subtitle on some of my auctions so that I can list more key words in the title.

It is my unuderstanding that subtitles don't appear in title search but do show in title and description searches - in other words you won't get any search benefit from the subtitle.

I had high hopes when I heard about subtitles that it would be a way to catch the people who have not discovered the little box for descriptionsl and a great place for alternate names and common typos that can make your title look lame. Sould we all write eBay with that suggestion? Naaa. don't think they would listen.

I might be willing to pay for the subtitle if it was included in the "title" search.
Only about 7% of my views come from "title & description" search, so it just isn't worth the extra cost.

Thanks, everyone. Obviously, subtitles don't justify the extra $$$ in my case either. The majority of my hits come from titles only.
