Would someone here please look at my newly launched auction, #2394519689, and tell me how it's looking? I'm trying the new Vendio Gallery, and on my screen I'm having to scroll to the right, then back and forth, to read the description. Does it show up on yours that way, too? If so, I'm going to go in and delete all the Vendio galleries (I opted for manual insertion in the description itself, so I probably can do that).

Edited to change the item #.

Way too wide, too many pictures across.
Can you place the gallery at the top or bottom?

Peeps: I didn't have to scroll, looking at yours. I've always loved having the pictures alongside of my text. To keep it that way, I guess I'll have to put the Vendio Gallery either on top of my auction page or at the very bottom. I worry that having them all at the top detracts from the auction the buyer is trying to look at.

I have to admit that I liked your Marquee style a lot. Hmmmm. Lots to think about. Can you tell me how big your computer screen is?

Okay! I had one unlaunched auction left, so I got to it in time, after opting for the Vendio Gallery at the bottom of the auction instead of where it is now. It shows up just fine, but WAY AT THE BOTTOM, which may be overlooked by buyers. The plus, though, is that my lines fit on the screen now. My only option, I suppose, is to opt for the gallery at the top of the description.

And now I'm going in and deleting the ugly gallery that's screwing up my lines, in all the other auctions. Yuck.

Edited to add: My husband is suggesting, if I keep the Vendio gallery at the bottom, to put a message under the title of my auction directing buyers to take a look at my gallery items clear down at the bottom, or such wording. That might work well!

I think I'll just skip Vendio Gallery.

Editing... Bigpeepa, Well written auction. I like your pictures, too. Hate to say this, but the gallery pics hiccuping across the screen are very distracting. JMHO...

I was torn at first where to put my gallery but then decided that on top was the best.

The bottom is way to far down and I think will be overlooked..

Since I implemented the Galley my sell through rate has risen-I still don't know if it is a coincidence or not.

Big Peepa I love your jewelry photographs-What are you using as a backdrop?

roadsmith, 17 inch screen

mslucy, thanks for your kind words. A few weeks ago a bunch of you guys and gals gave me ideas to better the look of my auctions. I have been working on them.

junebug, I use a dark blue velvet covered jewerly box for pins and stuff, for rings I just use a ring box.

I still need to do a lot of work on my auctions but its hard to think when you have nothing to think with.
