Closed about 25 auctions late last night, and already a bunch are whining about my policies. They act like it is a crime for me to require they have a "Confirmed" Paypal account and that I only ship to the "Confirmed" address. This is even after I explain I do this becauce I had a few chargebacks a year ago for over $200 from fraudulent bidders who either stole an ebay account or were using a stolen credit card and registering with paypal.
What kills me is their attitude when they were the one's who didn't read the TOS to begin with. Then they pull the, "I'm not going to be able to pay because you don't accept Paypal, or, "You didn't mention this in your auction description." What???? It is clearly mentioned in the paragraphs immediately after the item description.
My auction rules state:
USA: My Preferred Method is Bidpay, Money Order, and Personal Checks. I do accept Paypal payments from confirmed addresses only. Shipments will only be sent to the confirmed address. Email me for additional information or questions.
International: I only accept Bidpay, or International/Postal Money Orders. I do not accept Paypal for International payments because Paypal does not offer Seller Protection for International shipments.
I know I'm not necessarily the loudest speaker in the world, so I can understand if someone didn't hear me, but this is simply in plain text right there for the entire online world to read.
I can't wait for my vacation tomorrow to the Hot Springs.

Oh, did I slip and call this a vacation??? I'm soooo sorry. This is a business buying trip. Fortunately, the hot springs are in the middle of the shops we stop at. My business partner and myself will hole up out in the mountains for a few hours to "discuss business".

Here is a solution and I have seen this on some auctions. In the picture area at the upper left side of the auctions page. Make a photo that states "I sell to ONLY confirmed PayPal customers. Non confirmed buyers must not bid" That should attract their attention. You can also make your statement I do accept Paypal payments from confirmed addresses only bold. But, I think if you say I NO NOT accept paypal Payment from unconfirmed buyers would be a better statement than what you use. My Opinion.
