I had about 30 - 40 auctions close tonight.. and so far did not sell any thing....Oh I did sell 1 thing... Yea...Yea..
I am not going to get rich this way....

Hi Wrights,
You might want to think about ending your auctions on Sunday. The Sellathon stats on my auctions showed that Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday are pretty much dead days as far as people looking.
I closed 12 auctions on Sunday, 7 sold, 5 didn't. The 7 that sold ended up at more than twice opening bid. Factoring in the 5 that didn't sell, for which I do have to pay eBay listing fees, I still made a fair amount of money.
Considering my cost for the 12 items was less than $10.00, I figure I did pretty well.

I sold 7 out of 10 but all were under $10.00. It still was a good shelf cleaning evening. I list to end Sun - Thurs and find Sun and Thurs are the best days for me. You never know, it depends on who is looking and what they want. Hang in there.

raceing & lucy, I had 10 auctions end tonight. 7 sold, 3 no sales. When its the other way around for me I think its what I am selling not the day its sold on.

Had two regular listings up ending Easter Sunday - both for items that have slightly declined in value over the past few weeks mainly due to competitors listing theirs'. Attracted 15 and 21 bids respectively and good prices for a quiet weekend. Both had 99p start prices (on eBay.co.uk) and had bidding from all over the US, Europe, Australasia and Japan (wasn't a holiday there) as usual... bids on relistings are noticibly up from bidders who missed out on those slightly below average prices, so I'll (most likely) get above average prices this weekend.

This is the nfirst Sunday closing that was a bust, only 2 sales out of 24 auctions. Boo Hoo, Boo Hoo. Oh well there is tomorrow, right?
