I have a nice Griswold Dutch Oven that will be real nice when cleaned up. Is there any little tricks to cleaning Griswold iron products?
Thanks!

When I get old Cast Iron that really needs to be redone.
I build a charcoal fire in the driveway and throw them in.
It burns them clean as New.

I know I know!

Put it in a self cleaning oven, turn it on clean, and take it out hours later after the oven clean has done it's thing. It will be like brand new, which means....you have to start the seasoning process again. But that's not a bad thing. You can clean years of gunk off of one like that though.
