I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me. (Thank you in advance.)

I'd like to be able to insert a message into each one of my listings and was hoping that there might be a reliable service that could do this in bulk for me. (I have over 150 listings running at the moment, so this would be time consuming and tedious to do one at a time on my own.)

I'm going to unexpectedly be out of town for a long weekend. Not long enough that I feel I necessarily want to close all my listings, but long enough that someone is bound to panic if they can't reach me - and I wouldn't blame them. (But, then again, I might just decide to close things down so I can relax while I'm away and not worry that I'll come home to some catastrophe.) I was hoping to insert a message into my listings along the lines of "our offices will be closed from XXXXdate to XXXXdate and that we would be unavailable to answer any questions during this time". Or would I just be asking for trouble to try to do something like this?

I'd love to hear from the voice of experience. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi melissafan ..... yes, go to vrane.com and find in the center column of services "Power Adder" .... this feature will let you add/insert text to all of your auctions. ...

Does anyone know if there is certain html she can preface it with to make it 'show up' well?

Personally, I wouldn't add such to my auctions for a "one time thing."

Depending on the mail service you use, many allow "vacation messages," which I often use, so that if I am gone, any mail coming from eBay or a niche auction I use, is automatically responded to with an explanation that I am out of town, or whatever, and when I will return. I use Earthlink, but I know such "automatic response," or "vacation message" services are available through other services also.

aintrichyet - Thanks so much for your help! The vrane option is exactly what I was looking for and it will definitely save me a lot of time.

jwpc - Thank you for your good advice also! I will be sure to set up an automatic response through our email service, just to cover all the bases. Thanks for reminding me to be sure to do that.

I haven't 100% decided how I'll handle things, but really appreciate your help.

Thanks again
