I use Vendio's templates. I would like it if my images came out bigger in the listing (and not just clicking on the supersize link). How can I do this? Do I save the file to the largest file that it will let me (350k)? Or do I save increase the percentage size and save it to a smaller file? I have tried to do it both ways and sometimes it comes out right and sometimes it doesn't. It's like a crapshoot. Please help me make heads or tails out of this!

If you want bigger pics in your VD hosted auctions you will have to go to your MY ACCOUNT and turn off the Supersize option.
Then when you are editing your photos make them one size, for example "width 5"
But it's true, folks with dial up will back out of your auctions before the page loads if it's too slow for them. which is why I like the option to click on the "enlarge image"
Otherwise, I don't know how you can have any other size photo using VD by default UNLESS you turn off the "enlarge photo" option.

neglus has really nice pictures in her auctions and they are quite large. See if she will come in and tell you what she does. Right at this moment I can't remember. We are moving, yes moving and what a job. At least I will clean out my eBay room and will that ever be nice. Can't wait.

good morning bizzy:
my limited kn may not help...i use vendio template; if load 3 across, vendio compresses to meet size. i have tried to do same as you're seeking. as glassgirl addresses, larger images slow, etc. while i not disagree with her[she forgottn more than i ever know], i want my images large..and i know they take much longer to load sometimes.
---------
but just as a suggestion; and you may have already tried the following. if you can use sales manager[not pro], in your listing, and have windows xp, you can bulk upload images without editing...vendio automatically sizes[and they have 3 sizes available]..i image with a 2pixl and have my images from 650-800kb upload...again, the beauty of this is no cropping/editing, etc. to get to that 350kb threshold...
----------------------
in closing, i am not a volume lister, so while smPro is a speed tool; not having to edit saves a lot of time also..ANNNND, IF YOU GET YOUR QUESTION ANSWERED, I WILL CERTAINLY BE INTERESTED...GOOD LUCK,

Myoldtoy -- Thanks. I have just the regular Sales Manager, but I'm still using Windows 98. I know I know. But it's what I know and it took me long enough to learn that one! I have to take the time to edit my pictures to the 350k. Sometimes I have as many as 8 or 9 pictures in my listing.
Libra -- Good luck moving (especially with an ebay business). If I had to move right now, it would have disaster spelled all over it!

classic -- I'm using the software that came with the scanner. It's HP Photo and Imaging. I don't know how it stacks up to the other software out there and I don't even know if I'm using it to it's fullest advantage because the instructional manual leaves alot to be desired.
