Could someone tell me how long Parcel Post takes. I mailed some packages on the 4th to the West Coast and they have not arrived.

Supposed to take about 8 days.

parcel post from the east coast to the west coast has a 4-6 week delivery time. 8-10 weeks to Hawaii and Alaska. Sometimes it will be quicker if the PO is having a slow period, but if they are busy, you might as well put it on the back of a mule.
I don't do parcel post mostly for this reason. If it is too heavy for Priority to be cost effective, then it's UPS. (Fedex works too) but I don't use them myself.

There is no definite time of delivery with P/P. The last time I shipped by Parcel Post, it took 4 weeks to go less than 200 miles. I talked with a postal rep who told me p/p is sent at the convenice of the hauler. When there is room they take it. It can sit for days if there is no room on the truck.

The last time I used parcel post, it was 22 days to go from Santa Maria to LA a distance of 165 miles!! Never again will I ship that way. I was told by my favorite clerk that p.p goes when there is room for it & may sit in holding for days.
