Ever had one of those days? Can I see a show of hands here?

1) The IRS contacted us saying they are disallowing his alimony deduction from 2 years ago, even though the bank has automatically deducted this every month. The IRS has a great interest rate!

2) My high ($$) bidder on one of my auctions yesterday was NARU this morning although she paid PP promptly and I shipped the item this afternoon.

3) My other BIN bidder did do the PP immediate payment required - remember the thread a couple of weeks ago about the sure-fire deadbeat bidder screen name? If it was Cowgirl or her email address ended in .edu it would be a deadbeat? Well, [email protected] paid, only problem is, is her email address just bounces and bounces. I finally went into PP and she had left a note saying "please ship this to my business address and can I have it by Thursday?" Oh, her other address for a 70+ pound package was to a PO box!

4) I frantically built boxes all afternoon and on the way out the door I looked down and there was a part I'd left out of the the 70 pound box. Had to redo the shipping, didn't feel like dragging it back on the scale, just added 5 pounds and said the heck with it. After I got back from FedEx I did the Courtesy Rate. The $22.00 package went to $35.00 with that 5 pound added to it.

5) Waited 2 hours at the new house this morning for our refridgerator to be delivered. Finally got ahold of a real voice instead of a voice mail and she said, "oh, they couldn't find your fridge at Home Depot this morning so they put your delivery off until tomorrow." Did anybody bother to call me???? No!

6) Gave up and I got take-out chinese for supper. Let's hope I live through it and don't contract food poisioning.

Thanks, I feel better now..........

About the IRS, eBay & PO, what can I say, can it get any worse.
It's not even Friday the 13th.

About the refrigerator, does that mean you found a house?
I am so happy for you, wonderful news.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

hi glassgrl:

your number four would have done me in.

my day cant equal yours, but my "show of hands" is, as follows:

left town without filling my 2 trucks and boat. we have[had] relatively inexp. gas here.[1.84 for 87oct.] came home, running on fumes, to find gas at my local was now, $2.01 a gallon...oh well, i wont be needing any for my bayliner for a few weeks, because

mercury dealer quoted me 1100 bucks to repair the lower unit.

i would say,,, oh well i will say it anyway, have a nice week.

I'm so sorry McJane! None of my friends on dial up told me it took so long. I tried zipping them and finally had to host it on my provider as a last resort.

Oh I forgot:

7) When my DH went to the bank to get confimation of his payments, he discovered that the life insurance that was "supposed to be" automatically deducted every month was stopped two years ago - BIG my boo-boo. He was paying on her insurance and his both. Fortunately it was set up so that it didn't expire completely, but just deducted from the premiums...or something like that.

Oh well, tomorrow's another day, another [email protected].........

It's an adobe acrobat reader file. If you don't have adobe reader you won't be able to open it. I thought everybody had that!

It's a free download but you don't have to if you don't want to.

glassgrl.....only one problem with your new house..........Your eBay room is too clean....LOL

What a beautiful house...sorry you had a bad day, but sit back and relax in your new place.
If it makes you feel better, I have had an ongoing email battle with a lady whose foot is too small for the shoes she bought...insisting that I misrepresented the shoes...luckily, I take great pics most of the time so I sent her the picture used in the auction with the size clearly marked. Unfortunately, she has aol, and says she isn't receiving and mail. UUUGGGHHHH.

Cramer - How'd she know you sent it if she didn't get it? Or am I missing something here.

It's absolutely beautiful & so spacious. Well worth all the house hunting until you found just the right one & you sure did.

Love the eBay room, so much space to fill up & so much fun filling it.

I am so happy for you.

glass -- Well, you're done. Bad luck comes in 3s and you are at, what 6s -- depending on the Chinese food? I have days like that where I wonder why I ever got out of bed!

On another note, I don't know if I was supposed to peek, but couldn't help myself. I absolutely love your house!!! It is so beautiful. I like the spaciousness!

By the way -- Who are the two in the kitchen cooking? The chefs? Ahhhhhh ... The riches that ebay can wrought!

yay McJane! It was nice of you to go to all that trouble just to view my pics.

The ebay room will be nice, however once we move in - that door will always be shut and that room will always be "off limits" to guest LOL.

It WILL be nice to have a clean living room however! I think I'll be able to keep everything contained in one room. That must of been what sold my DH on the house...the size of that 3rd bedroom, because he went through the house before I saw it. That's what he said when he showed it to me, "here's your new Ebay room".

It's not *THE HOUSE* though. It's just temporary for a year (or two?) until he decides to retire and we move from FL to AL. I will SO miss the water we overlook but the extra room and garage will almost make up for it. I'm not thrilled with the move but it is fun having energy to flow towards something new to decorate and arrange. This will be the first time in 9 years since we've been together that I will finally be able to decorate with some MY things that have been stored at my house since there's been no room here for it in the condo.

I'm busy packing things up and trying to get rid of some of the *I don't want to move" Ebay things at the same time. I keep having nightmares of sending someone one of my boxes of junk that I've packed instead of what they bid on!

I don't mind you peeking biz! The couple are the present/former owners. No cook sorry!

I just realized I must sound awfully spoiled to be complaining about the new house. It's just hard living on the water and moving to a house with no yard to speak of.

No trouble at all, took over an hour probably because I have dial up. I wanted to see your house.

I understand just what you mean, seems you always have to give up something, but it is a lovely house. Hang some pictures of the ocean, hey how about even a mural of the sea, that should do it.

And don't forget "real" eBay rooms spread out & take over the whole house.
