This question relates to Ebay because I cannot read my mail. I have Outlook (not Outlook Express) and somehow the whole lower title bar got messed up. Below the inbox there should be the various fields i.e. "from", "subject" and "recieved". Well, I accidently hit the mouse while reaching for the phone and the whole thing disappeared. Now I have subject with no date and I can't tell who it's from and the email is sorted by subject and not date. I am not answering emails because I can't find them and I am getting into serious hot water. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!

I believe what your looking for is under the view tab...I have express so I can't be sure. But if it's anywhere close the view tab should have a custom button to add what you need

hmm. "Another very easy trap to fall into that might cause messages "disappear" is to simply have an improper view applied. Both Outlook and Outlook Express have the ability to show only messages matching certain criteria. For example "show only unread messages" is a common setting - once you read the message, it "disappears". Applying a different view that doesn't restrict which messages are shown causes the message to reappear. Check the View menu in either application (and the Arrange By sub menu if present) to see what your current settings are. If they're restrictive, it's possible your mail is still there, just not in view."
I wonder if you have shut your computer down and started back up to see if that helped. OK, don't laugh...sometimes it works. Other than that, try dragging. Put your mouse on the toolbar where it says "subject" and wherever there's a line. Try dragging (left mouse button hold down while highlighting the line, you'll get the directional left/right arrow when you have it in the right place) to the left or right IF you can find a line present.
What system of Windows are you running? If it's XP try restore.

Under NO circumstance will I enable either of these programs. They full of weak spots & are open to hackers & viruses.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! Going to the View actually worked. None of the selections sounded right but I figured it was so messed up I had nothing to lose.
