I have had a terrible day! It started last night and the saga continues!! Late last night a buyer paid instantly after bidding for multiple purchases - ONLY shipping on the first. Nothing, nada, zip, zilch for the other items shipping! Then another customer paid for two instantly and only paid the shipping on one.
I knew it had to be skunk somewhere. I called eBay (I worked my b*** off for that perk)I have never called before but I spent a long time on the horn today with a representative.
WELL,they are sorry for the glitch and finally admitted the error and they will try to resolve it. MEANWHILE , I have to eat the lost postage and turn off my combine shipping. I explain if paid multiple Paypal payments,I would still lose! Anywho at least it will be cheaper than giving a free ride for items shipped with the first.
Has anyone else met this 'glitch"
Thanks for listening

Yes. eBay claimed it was a PayPal issue; Paypal said it was a problem with eBay.

I lost three sales because of this because I would not ship three items for one shipping charge.

thanks,Fluffy-I will have to ship the items both sales amounted to over $100 so if I refuse to accept payment I would still have to pay the listing fees and the final cost fees. What a costly 'glitch"! Of course THEIR GLITCH cost ME not them!

niel35 -- Sometimes a buyer will send funds to the wrong paypal acct. if they type in your acct. name incorrectly. Have the seller double check the acct. they sent money to.

A couple of times I have had people contact me saying money meant for me went into their acct, which had a very similar name to mine. thank goodness they were honest.
