Tomorrow's my 5th year "anniversary" for being on eBay and I'm still having fun! I started out selling some of my personal "treasures" (the joke around my family was that I'd be found with only my couch, TV and computer because I'd sold everything else on eBay!) and branched out to selling on consignment for friends/family. I'm strictly a small-time seller but continue to be delighted with the (mostly) terrific customers who pay quickly...some I even consider friends who keep in touch via e-mail. Just thought I'd take a second to thank everyone on this board who has been so helpful and informative...you've made the past 5 years even more fun!

Blueyes...This thread rang a bell with me. I checked my starting date and discovered that the 3rd of this month was my 6th anniversary on Ebay. It slipped by me completely. Time sure flys when you're having fun

Congratulations to both of you. Quite a milestone. You know sparkz the older you get the more you forget. If you couldn't remember it was 6 years it must have been a good ride.

Yes, congratulations! I understand that the 5th anniversary gift for Ebayers is . . . tada. . . TONER.

Had my 5th last December. I started selling old music and books for about $3 each. Can't imagine doing that much work for that little money today.

Congratulations to you
I made it to 6 years a few months ago.
I still remember my first sale - a $2.00 post card and I was so excited.

Hard to imagine life without ebay! I am in my 8th year now on ebay, unreal! I was a latecomer too, because I was using another online auction service (can't remember the name now!) back in the mid 90's, at the time they were the bigger auction venue than what ebay was. Ebay was for pez lol

Had my 5th last April 22nd!
I started out selling gently used/vintage clothing and still at it!
I've also made many good friends and I've found that most people are a pleasure to deal with.
