Hi All,
I have no idea about this sort of stuff but a friend asked me to find out if he had something worth keeping. It appears to a genuine reprint of a first edition. However I would not have a clue. So here are some pics for expert opinions.
Warm Regards,
Adrian

No, it is in poor condition and most collectors would not buy it that way. You might get a $1 for it.

The comic you have there is a "Famous First Edition" #26. In the condition it's in... it's probably only worth about $2-3.

Is it worth keeping? If you're a comic fan... perhaps. It's an inexpesive way to add the first action comics story to your collection. Hope that helps!

it is only good for you if you like this, as for collectors, this is a reprint from the 70's and you will get almost nothing for it...check the graders list to see the level of it, if this was a original you could get a few thousand if it was graded by the CGA and if it was in mint condition.....

I sold a known reprint of a comic for $100.00. The guy at the comic book store here said it was "worthless".

Maybe I should tell him to post it on ebay. The crappier something is the higher the bids usually. Maybe a TOS like cash only hand delivered. only bidders with 500,000 positive FB or more and a 2000% restocking fee. <--------Joke<--------
Seriously though, thank you all for your knowledge and input.
Warm regards,
Adrian

If it's not broke, fix it 'til it is.

Put it up as an exciting rare reprint.

very true glasgrl, but was the condition better than was shown here?

This comic could fetch $100 too, but would need to be in mint condition or at least near mint.

Personally I would keep it as it might be as close the the real thing you would ever get.

Have you researched this exact comic on eBay?

No I didn't research it. I don't have a clue what I am looking at with this stuff. And I was being a bit lazy(I mean efficient) I guess by asking the people that I thought would have a fair idea. Everyones input so far has been greatly appreciated.
Warm Regards,
Adrian
