Yep, "midwest" here too in OHio ... (why did they ever decide to call Ohio 'Midwest' anyway?' LOL .. It so isn't.
I'm really "down" ... only ebay, ... all other web pages load in a jiffy.

Our cable connection goes haywire anytime we have heavy rain. It's great as long as it's nice and dry out. It is now completely down in Cleveland. Wow, this is a switch. It used to go down on Sundays. Off to work. Fun, fun, fun.

Doesn't load here in Michigan either... I think we can say without a doubt "eBay has bit the dust" ... whats the weather like in San Jose CA? .. MAYBE they are experiencing power outages also?

Yep, pretty well down here in Indiana. The pages load so slowly I could make my coffee in between page loads. Oh well, I can still take pictures.

The weather in san jose is just over cast. No winds or rain here. Yahoo and ebay are located in the same area so that might be what's going on. I am located about 20 miles north of them. As you can tell, I am fine.

Down here. Central California coast, halfway between LA and San Fran. Everything else seems okay so I guess it's eBay.

It looks like it's trying to come up again or crash again. IT's really slow. I wonder if this has anything to do with the local telephone company being on strike? HUMMMMM

It's been awhile since I've worked in the internet field. Took me a few minutes to remember how to do it.
I just did and it looks like BOTH Yahoo and ebay are having problems.
How to test the connection to ebay:
You maybe able to run a basic ping test directly from your computer without using an Internet weather reporting service. To give this a try, go to your operating system's command prompt (DOS box in Windows 95) and type ping followed by the host/domain name of your destination site. For example, if your destination site is www.chami.com, type:
ping www.ebay.com
and press ENTER
