If I am late in paying my ebay bill (1 month)does ebay end my listings or just keep me from listing any more untill Im paid up. I got and "advance billing" statement email that said i was overdue in paying my bill and they would be charging my card account in next 2-8 days. I guess I spent too much on my vacation

Thanks!

i would think they will let you list since they said they will be charging your card in 2-8 days.
you can try listing now and see what happens?
were you paying them with check ,is your card on file in good standing??

If your account is overdue they can put you on hold which means you can't list and if you have stuff already listed - no one can bid on it.

Yes I can post right now. If they try charging my account in 2 days It will probably be declined. If they charge towards the 8 days the payment will go thru. Im just worried that if they charge my card and it is declined they will end my current listings. I hope they will just keep me from listing more stuff after it gets declined. The card is in good standing, just not enough funds in there at the moment.

You can use paypal to send payment using ebaY's one time payment method. You could also use any available credit to do a one time payment.

Even if your card is declined you can still list.

For about 2 weeks until they try the card again.

If your card is declined a 2nd time they will put your account on hold but the stuff you already had listed can still get bids.

If you need the Ebay revenue to pay the ebay bill exclusively then you should load up your listings NOW.

I once got way in over my head with my Ebay bill at a time my husband was out of work during Christmas . I had racked up $3,200 (2 months worth)

KNOWING my card was going to decline the 2nd time I loaded up my Ebay store and listed more than my normal amount of listings.

When I was frozen and unable to list I had enough already that was getting bids and eventually clicked the "Make a one time payment" option until I had hacked it down to only the currently due and not yet charged.

In summary........ don't worry until your card/payment has declined more than once.

this will be the second decline. If they dont end my current auctions i will be ok. Should be able to pay my balance after they end. Thanks for the great advice!

Even though I have a CC on file I pay my bill by PayPal all the time. It takes a couple of days before payment reaches them, but much faster than trying to get my money in my checking account. If you are paying your vendio account payment has to be made so that vendio gets their payment 15 days before they bill. They haven't anything in place to accept paypal immediately even though they charge 1.5% of your payment.

They will not end your auctions........ don't worry.

Ebay will do and does ANYTHING to NOT have to give refunds. Why would they cancel your auctions over something as trivial as a few WEEKS past due??

Even if you are declined the 2nd time all you have to do is hack away at the bill. Even if you make 4, $20 payments off 4 different cards and a e-check Ebay will be happy as long as they are paid within a reasonable amount of time.

There are automatic procedures in place at eBay that can screw you if you are not careful. If you do get NARUed for non-payment there seems to be some type of inter-dimensional thing that happens that reduces hits on your auctions by about 40% for about a month. Nah, I just pulled that out of my butt, eBay wouldn't do THAT.
