Here's the listing information for an item that launched tonight:

Listing fees
Insertion fee: $0.35
Insertion fee (Second Category): $0.35
Buy It Now: $0.05
Buy It Now (Second Category): $0.05
10-day duration: $0.20
Gallery: $0.25
Gallery (Second Category): $0.25
Total fees: $1.70

I"ve looked at this for 10 minutes and see it adding up to $1.50 total. What am I missing?

Also, another listing, in one category, shows 20 cents for the 10-day duration.

Who can I complain to at Ebay? Anybody have Meg's home phone?

There should be a second .20 cent fee for the 2nd 10 day insertion. They have it added into the total, but for some reason it's not shown in the detail. Did these figures come from the listing confirmation email or from your Ebay statement?

But Sparkz, I thought it was .10 for a 10-day listing, and doubling that makes it .20? Have they upped that charge lately?

My head is just spinning. This is making me wonder how many more overcharges I've had that weren't detected. IF this is indeed an overcharge.

To all my pals here: I know I've been posting a lot here, lately, but I don't know where to get better answers than from all of you. Please forgive.

Roadsmith...Yes, they upped the fee to 20 cents for a 10 day listing. They did this some time back. One poster mentioned that it almost made more sense to list two back to back 7 day auctions than one 10 day listing. This is something I'm about to try. In your case above, your listing in two categories for 10 days will result in 40 cents for the extra 3 days.

Thanks so much, Sparkz! I haven't used 10-day listings much at all and hadn't noticed the fee increase. Live and learn.
