This new My Ebay is really chapping my hide. I've had a few bidders ask me to notify ebay they paid. I'm guessing this has to do with eBay's new check system in the MY EBAY 2.sucks.
I track everything through vendio, so why should I have to bother with this? Does this affect their account? I'm sure it just shows they have an item to pay for, as a means to encourage people to use Paypal.

I think the only way this function goes away is if they pay by PayPal. I really don't think eBay cares one way or the other unless you file NPB and they they will know they didn't pay. I don't think there is a solution to that and if you find one out come and tell us. Maybe if you can do a answer in your Microsoft word so that all you will have to do is cut and paste an email back to them. More work with no compensation.

you can just tell them to click on the drop down arrow on the notification in their list of items to paid etc. and select Mark Paid. (there's also other 'useful' options)
then they wont get that annoying summary list of what they need to pay and what they need to leave feedback on.
I guess people are just confused, its meant to be assisting you organizing what you have and haven't paid. the only reason it automatically mark with paypal is because its the same system.

Simply tell them that you do not participate in the my ebay program. E-mail notification to them direct is how you do business.
