woah. I'm seeing DHL everywhere. its popping up in vendio... cnn... even when I watched TV.

matches their commerical too.. heh.

so, what are the opinions on DHL?

I usually stick with fedex cuz of drop of locations are close to me..

but I wonder about DHL's rates... hmm never really shipped with them before.

They arent any better than fedex or ups, but they certainly are cheaper.

My experience has been sporadic. 95% of the time it was great. 5% of the time they couldnt find an obvious address on a major road.

Then they merged with airborne and they work 100% of the time.

They do include a shipping number so it should work great.

I dont use them regularly because I use USPS which is still the cheapest my particular items. You can't beat the $3.85 flat rate envelope.

But whenever I send something big or heavy DHL is the way to go.

hi toben: i filled out profile, etc., for id and password...then i found that i cannot access online for shipping info, like quotes, unless i set up an account with dhl...its the usual, cc, address etc.

i use ups, fedex without account number, and would like to do same with dhl...
any ideas?

and, how do they compare to ups or fedx on shipping cartons, as maybe a medium size.
