Check this out 7904719049

Newby leaves a neutral just because she won the auction but says she will leave feedback later. This is why anyone with under 50 sales should not be allowed to leave feedback - buyer or seller. They don't know what the heck they are doing. That poor seller didn't deserve that.

I think it is time neutral feedback was demolished. What does it mean anyway? It seems to be mostly newbies that use it. When I used to sell on Yahoo, it was used to contact buyers if payment has not arrived, or they didn't reply etc., and then you could change it to a postive, the same on Bidville. Maybe some people have used those auctions, and think that eBay works the same way.

Hi Max,

Click on site map up at the top. It's about halfway down in the middle column.

Hey, one of the sellers left a good neutral.

I asked the seller a question and got this person's e-mail address. I've sent him/her a very stern message. I'll post any reply I get here.

The newby probably just didn't know. If Roadsmith hadn't done it - I was going to tell them myself.
I like the one's that post the seller's FB on their FB page.
Doesn't ebay have some to retract FB now if mutually agreed?
I was thinking 20 but 50 sounds MUCH better to me, but ebay won't ever do it as long as they can make $20.00 to get it removed.

Good idea, Roadsmith. She just doesn't know any better.

Here's the buyer's rather ignorant reply. Duh. I wrote back and said don't you understand, neutral IS feedback. You can't leave two feedbacks. I still wish Ebay made newbies pass a quiz before they can sign on.

"From my understanding of neutral means nothing,I am sorry to offend you but I misunderstood once I get my package I will leave a feedback"

I've invited the seller of this item, which Niel pointed out to us, to come to Vendio and check out the Ebay Outlook. I think he/she will be doing this.

Okay, everyone. Here's a thank-you note from the seller mentioned at the top by Niel:

Thanks to Neil for bringing up the person who left a neutral feedback. Thanks as well to all who responded. A special thanks to "roadsmith" for standing behind me and helping this message reach you.

Hopefully, this person will get the idea of what is supposed to be done and how to do it. I'm fairly new as well to selling, but have done my homework on procedures and "how to's". I think everyone should be required to do the same.

Thanks again for the support.

Hi Roadsmith!

The amusement value is quite something too.

Maybe it would be a good idea to send the bidder a link to this thread.

The bidder now has a NEG to deal with as well.

Yet to be honest, the bidder is not totally to blame, as no one ever explains the system properly.

Have a great weekend!

It's obvious that this "newbie" needs an education on feedback, but I don't think that using feedback to "teach the lesson" is any better then what he/she is doing. Granted eBay needs a serious overhaul of the feedback system, but until that happens (if ever!) we have to deal with it as it is. As always JMHO.

Can't we start a petition or something?
While we're at it I still say they should post the buyer's FB % right behind their name too, just like the sellers.

Yet to be honest, the bidder IS totally to blame. To me the system is self explanatory-even as a newbie,I never had a problem with it DID YOU?? or did anyone else here have a problem with it?? What person in their right mind would think they could leave feedback once and come back later and leave it again??...you guessed it a total nitwit.
