I usually don't buy but I saw this wiget that my little boy and I could use this summer and have some fun with. The auction showed 2 for sale. Minimum bid was 4.99. I bid on 2 of them for 5.02. Ebay showed the bid and completed the auction at 5.02. I thought it would take the lowest price, 4.99, for both ? I never knew ebay did that? Am I right?
Ok, now to question number two. In the "WIN" email., the sellers points me to their Andale check out It shows the total bid price of 5.02 which is correct with a shipping and handling charge of 4.35 (auction states that the S & H is 2.90) Then they add insurance for 0.75. What in the heck are they doing here? It just doesn't add up.

Question #1: The bid of $5.02 is correct. eBays states "lowest bid" which was $5.02. The starting bid does not count. Question #2; I would ask the seller for an explanation. The only that I can see is they are combining for shipping.

I received an answer tonight:
The total is correct. The $.75 is for required insurance( stated on auction page). The first one is $2.90 shipping and the second one $1.45.
I checked it, yep they were right! Hidden but it was there.$0.75 insurance? I wonder who they are using ? H well, I'll find out when it arrives. Case closed.
