I tried the "compare" feature to see how my auctions stack up against the competition and I'm very disappointed. My shipping charges don't show up, and that's my best asset (low shipping), so now it looks like mine are higher priced. Did anyone else who use Vendio check to see if their shipping shows up? I tried to post this under the other "problems" section, but no one (moderators) is answering. Maybe it's because I offer media or priority plus have Canada and International rates entered?

I can't even get the feature to work. I click on the items to compare, click on compare and I get a page that tells me to click on items to compare. It's worthless, IMO.

If you do a search on ebay you should see "check off boxes" in front of the titles (if you don't see these boxes go to the left side of the screen and under search options click on customize, then customize display, then click on "show comparison check boxes).
After you click 2 or more boxes on the bottom of the search screen you'll see a button that says "compare". A new screen will pop-up and show the 2 items side by side with comparisons of price, seller feedback, shipping, payment options, and picture if gallery is used.

Thanks ihula...got it! Not sure the average ebayer will figure out how to use it though. My shipping did show up (I have flat s/h rate)

Do you have the ebay checkout enabled? I don't think I do - maybe that's why mine don't show up.

Yes I do - I don't use Vendio checkout (I use listing and post-sale but send ebay invoices and let buyers use eBay checkout)

Hi neglus,
I'm pretty sure that's where my problem lies, then. I took a look at one of your auctions and you do ship International. When you create your auctions I assume you put the $1.50 in the ebay checkout area, but what happens if a Canadian buyer completes the checkout? Can he change the price? I may have to start using checkout and just putting my media rate shipping in that area and hope international shippers will change the shipping total...

Thanks for the instructions. I just used it for a Sci-Fi paperback book series I am shopping for and it made it soooo much easier!

I usually put my $2.00 shipping for the postcards I list from other countries...makes it easier. I have quite a few non-US buyers buy US view postcards too and they usually are pretty good about putting in the right shipping amount. If you are able to send out the eBay invoice right after auction end (before buyer can check out) you can enter the correct shipping amount there.
