Hey - it's been almost three years since I have been on here, and I am pleasantly surprised to see a few names I recognise! I had supported myself then by selling on eBay and really learned a lot from this message board!

But it seemed for me that right after the elections things slowed down with my sales and I decided to get a "real" job. Now I am getting the bug again and have been doing fairly well back on eBay. And it's so nice to see familiar "faces" still here!

I am really interested to know, how long have you been here on the Vendio community (which I remember as AuctionWatch) and how are you doing on the eBay scene? You don't have to give personal info - just want to get re-aquainted!

Thanks and I already have gotten a lot of info from your posts - and a lot of laughs!!

Hi rosycat
Welcome back. Nice to hear your doing well on eBay.

I'm not selling right now, sort of taking the summer off.

Yes, some familiar posters are still here & many new & interesting people too.
Best place on the Internet to learn anything you need to know concerning eBay.

I've been around since 1/1/1999

Thanks! I originally started April, 1999. Right now I work with end-stage patients in a hospital now, and sometimes I really need a pick me up - it can get depressing. eBay and this board helps a lot! Who knows, little by little, maybe I can cut my hours and do more EBAY!

Very depressing, I know, I'm a nurse too.
Gave it up a few years ago. Guess I spent too many hours in the ICU & ER.
I don't know if I could handle what you do, but I admire you very much.

This place might be just what you need so stay around, it really is nice to see you back again.

Signed on in 1999. Retired, may need a nurse soon. Work part-time, eBay part-time, goof off full time.

Member since 1999, as far as I can remember. "Real" job was as treasury secretary of the local office of a worldwide corporation, riding the bus to & from work downtown even though I have two cars. I am 50 years old.

I was hit twice by a pickup truck in the knees while crossing the street in the crosswalk a block from home. Yes, I had the walk signal. Left turning idiot didn't stop right away. Hit me again from other side after I was thrown in the air. After it was all over, I had landed 20 ft from where I was first hit. No sympathy, please.

I am on Soc Sec disability. I list only part-time now, only right before Thanksgiving through Christmas or not at all.

Welcome back rosy!!!

I've been here since 2000. eBay is my job-it's what I do now. Up until 2000 I was in the rat race of senior management. I just decided that the race could do with one less rat.

Haveing a life outside of Ebay is great.

Its the only thing that keeps one sane. While ebay can be fun one does need to have a real life.

Ah, and I see your wit has not changed, tomwiii!

You know, I have heard that people who hate cats, will come back as mice in their next life!

Good to hear from you - your name is one of the first I recognised!

Hi Rosycat ... Nope, I'm pretty much a newbie. One of the things that I love about selling on ebay is that it's not just a job, it's an adventure! Welcome back ...

I can't remember how long I have been here, I remember the days when moderators kept everyone in line. Now, it seems like I use the ignore feature much more than I used to!
