LOL ... I never DID 'get' dutch auctions easily (could be 'cuz I'm Polish) ... I have one that will end soon, and it is for 7 available sword blades ... but right now on my bidder list page, it shows 1 guy high at $10 for 2 sword blades, and the underbidder at 7.01 for 7 sword blades ... that equals 9 and we don't HAVE 9 .,... i know the bidders "win" at whatever the lowest amount shown is, but I don't understand why it is adding up to 9 items. Can anyone explain it to me so I don't embarrass myself at invoicing?

Right now, the only one that would win any of the swords is the top bidder at the price of $7.01.
Because the second bidder has bid on 7, he/she is not obligated to purchase any if they do not win them all.
Now that said, it is best to record the e-mail addresses of all bidders before the auction ends. You likely will be able to sell the other 5 to the second bidder as most bidders are happy to get any amount.
