Is anyone getting a box pop up when on Ebay searching etc. It shuts down Ebay as soon as you click on it. I hope I haven't got a virus.
Thanks for any information someone might have.

I don't get any pop ups at all when I search on eBay. What browser are you using? Do you have a pop-up blocker?

It sounds to me that you have some sort of virus. Is your A/V up to date?

It is not a survey or anything like that. Whether click on the X or click on "ok" it immediately closes Ebay. I just went to Kim Komando's site. Very helpful. I forget about her but someone had the link to her and took advantage. Still working on getting everything updated.
Thanks

No, but it sounds like a good idea.

Maybe your browser writer was worried about liability concerning eBay. You know like the clods at eBay and jarts. Boy, there is a group that needs a few well aimed jarts! POW, someday to the moon, Meg! My apologies, Mr. Kramden.

You likely have a rogue spyware or adware program on your computer. The symptoms you describe are not consistent with the latest crop of viruses making the rounds. Load Spybot Search and Destroy on your computer as well as Adaware and get rid of whatever it is that causes it. You may also need a popup blocker if your ISP doesn't provide one.
