Not many garage sales in my area this weekend. I suppose because of the holiday. The one's that I did stop at were jammed with shoppers. No great finds.

I think the holiday weekend will mean fewer garage sales, which is why I am out of town this weekend. I am in Vegas, but I will still go to the flea market here tomorrow and maybe some garage sales too...we'll see!

Does last week count? I got a great desk for $20 late morning. It looks like something off the deck of the Starship Enterprise! I wanted it because it had a filing cabinet with it and mine didn't. Came home and looked it up and the whole shebang sells for about $700! Just the filing cabinet is $239! It's huge though, so I guess not everybody would of wanted it or had room for it. Now that I've got my new Ebay room it's perfect for my two printers, two computers, & scanner.

It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard to stay away from the MANY yard/garage sale signs so far this weekend in ohio!!! ... there are many many new signs up, and we have no time to stop and seek!!!!... nearly brings me to TEARS! lol ... I am just SURE, deep inside, we have passed up on some great 'finds' ... my husband keeps saying" there will always be finds and sales, continously" .... but I can barely stand driving by them this weekend. Maybe that multitude waited because we have had so much rain for so many weekends in Ohio .,.... I do want to check them all out but can't "right now" .... wahhhhhhhhh!

My husband will never make spur of the moment stops for yard sales or little flea markerts that we pass. He is a great one for planning things and we are always heading for someplace. His standard response is "Looks like they are only selling fleas." HA HA
I did catch him one time when we passed a church flea market and he made his cute remark. On our way back by the church later in the day we stopped at a light and saw a boy walking away with a very rare toy that we collect in the box! I remind him of that when he won't stop.

photo, my hubby would never hear the end of it if he refused to stop. if he wants to have fun with the mad money we earn on ebay, he darn well better support the way i get the items to sell.
we had oodles of sales this weekend but i was just too tired to stop, too long of a work week.
i did stop at a couple and found a two piece woman's suit for my granddaughter. brand new and fully lined, high dollar suit. $1.00
