I have 2 expensive silverplate pieces (one Elkington other Wellner) which I've tried selling on US eBay with no success. How can I list same items on *.co.uk England's site?

Just go directly to the ebay.co.uk site, click on sell and list away. Your listing is going to be in £ so be sure to figure out your starting bid based on that. You an find current exchange rates at xe.com

if you say you ship worldwide, your item will show up in UK search.

where do i check in my account that i ship worldwide? I do say in my auctions that I will ship worldwide if bidder emails me prior to bidding, but I'm not sure if I have that set anywhere in the preferences. Elkington is really popular in England from what I hear and would I have any advantage of putting it directly to England's site over putting it on US site and enabling it into England's search?

Let me explain this once again. Unlike the US, there are two different search options that UK users have available to them.

The defaul search is item that are available WITHIN the UK. This is the search that the vast majority of users use.

In order to see items that US sellers list as available to ship worldwide UK users must select a different search option, that of AVAILABLE TO the UK.

If you want you item seen by the largest percentage of UK bidder, you need to list from within the UK site and set your country as Untied Kingdom,

How do I know this to be true? Because I sell items in the UK on a regular basis for 50 to at times 100% higher than the same item is selling at in the US at the same time.

Unfortunately no, anything you do with a speciic auction in terms of relisting, sending invoices, etc, must be done from the site where it was first listed.

Before you go into this venture - you should check and be sure you assumption that the items will do better on the UK site are indeed correct. Go there and do a completed items search.
