Ebay was running very slow over the weekend. I was trying to buy some stuff, but ebay was so slow that I went to Home Depot instead. 10 cent listing day is probably compensation for sellers.

I have a dumb question ... using vendio, if I put the opening bid and buy-it-now as the same amount, will THAT launch as "Fixed Price" listing?

Well, it's working out great for me. I listed and sold one $40.00 item this morning, and just relisted another one. Kind of reminds me of fishing. First time I've used FPL.

Second one just sold, and have launched a third. Happy Dance time!

no ESTATE, you have to select "fixed price" format before you put in your price..that is how you get a FP as opposed to a BIN listing.

Way to go MAX ...FP is kind of fun every once in awhile. Wouldn't like it as a steady diet! One good thing about is the unplanned for payments coming in )! I use it for my relists.
If you are relisting with the FP special, make certain you clear out the ebay 1cent gallery views and subtitles from the listing or this may not end up being such a great deal after all!

Thanks neglus ... I found that out (rather late today because I had to leave), so I'm doing up some higher priced FP's now that I'm home ... jeez, you can list a multi-hundred dollar item for 10 cents ... not bad. ........ NOW, I can only hope someone will come along and buy 'em. LOL.
p.s. How much do FP's cost when it's NOT a 10-cent day?

Fixed price would cost the same as a regular option on normal days. For example, if you list 1 $4.00 item at FP it would be 30 cents. If you list 3 of that item it would be equal to $12.00 so it would be 55 cents.
Hope that makes sense.
I listed 307 items (roughly 10 of each item). I'm calling it quits (my butt is sore).

thanks ... I get it now ... I went to try to look up that info at ebay site-map (nothin'), then 'help' and typed in Fixed Price fees, and finally found that information ... but YOU answered much faster than I found it:
"Fixed Price format
When you list an item with the new Fixed Price format:
".......You can sell quantities of one item or more per listing.
The item will appear in regular eBay browsing and search results.
There is no additional charge per item. However, the same Listing Fees and Final Value Fees will apply as for an auction-style format item. Learn more about fees."
