I have been a Powerseller on EBay under two different ID’s since 1998. I have currently closed down my EBay Id’s. I am currently venturing into a graduate school program, so I am looking for a company to help me continue to sell my items. I won’t have the time to do the front end sales, but will be able to handle my back end duties.

I generally run 500+ auctions per week. I deal in matted prints, note cards, figurines, magnets, etc., that are focused toward “animal” people (dogs, cats, horses, wildlife, etc.)

I need to find a company to handle my listing, payments, collections, feedback, etc. I can handle shipping, etc, due to the fact that my items are ordered or made after a payment has been received. All of my prints are hand cut and matted, etc.

I have all of the pictures, and even can provide the turbo lister auctions that I did run while still active on EBay.

What kind of pricing structure do you have for this type of setup? I have currently 3,500 pieces of inventory available to sell (though not all at the same time). The majority are starting priced at $.01. This generally leads to having multiple items per customer. My items have generated 1,500 new customers for my shop in 2004 to date.

Would your business be interested in my business?

I do not know any Trading Assistant that would run auctions with their ID, and not have the products in their possession.

On top of that, it looks like you want them to trust you to ship it.

Are you wanting someone to use your ID's to handle these transactions, or use their ID?

It seems to me that you are trying to job out the most automatable aspects of your operation and choosing to keep the most labor intensive.

Why not use a system such as Auction works that allows you to create static inventory for your items as well as programming in shipping etc. Once a day you click the inetory items you want to launch, set the launch time and perimeters and hit go. As a matter of fact, you can do it once a week and schedule all of your items for the week. Their checkout system can be set up to auto redirect winning bidders to your checkout when they hit the check out button on the ebay auction page. Once at te checkout page, all orders are automatically combined, bidder selects payment method (authoize.net gateway is preprogrammed in if you have a merchant account) and is all information is forwarded to the selection they choose. ONce payment is made payment is registered in the system. All you have to do is go to Unshipped Item, fill your orders and mark items as shipped. Feedback is sent automatically when item is shipped, or when feedback has been left for you, whichever you choose. It also enables you to send out automated reminders and file for NPB warnings and for FVF. Seems that you are willing to give away a large percentage of yoursales when you can do all the work yourself in just a few hours a week. Since the servicce costs less that a TA, you will actually probably spend the same amount of time a week to make make the same amount of money since you will have to run fewer auctions and in the end, spend less time on the fulfillment phase.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

why do you close down your ebay ids??
just because you are going back to school, does not mean your ids have to be shutdown.
