Received 2 emails this PM. #! is a suspension from ebay unless I immediately notify them of my credit card ## & my password. #2 is a notification from PayPal for the same reasons. I sent both to Spoof & deleted them. I hope there is no one on this chat room that is so naive as to reply to these Axxholes. This is 4 today alone!!

Well, now that I have changed my ISP and also a different email address for eBay and PayPal they should stop for a while. I got one the other day that looked really good but then I knew better and hit the delete button. Of course when you get those they look so real that you wonder so if you are in doubt send it to them first then go into your account and see if there is a problem.
Thanks Sanmar. This kind of thread has to stay at the top for all the new posters here in Vendio.

Ya, Jack, it takes a while but they will find you. It took about a year for them to find me, but now I am starting to get them. Thank goodness Verizon has a good spam filter, it really helps keep them out of my emails.

Yep, they will show up for anything.
I have a supposed bill with Sprint from, get this... 9 years ago. I have never used Sprint and thought this was a done deal about 6 years ago when I sent them a letter disputing their claim and never heard from them again. They recently must have transferred that bill to a new collection agency. I've received a few calls and a letter from them over the last few weeks, which I haven't returned. Two days ago, I get a call that I entered into a sweepstakes for an automobile, and they wanted to speak to me. I pretended it wasn't me and took a message. They wouldn't give me a phone number to call back. I used *69 and low and behold, it was the collection agencies area code. Ironic, don't you think???
The strategies used by criminals are the same. It is up to us to figure out who is who when they call.
