Certain types of bachelors would buy it.
A gynecologist might buy it for their office.
Med students would buy it.

i don't know if I would buty it, but if given to me I would certainly use it - maybe I am little twisted than most but I think it is funny as hell.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

It's a medical display. My family doctor growing up had a whole collection of them - gastro -intestinal, reproductive, stomach and bowels etc.
He used them to explain things to patients about their condition and to kids to teach.
Haven't seen one in a long time, doctors today seem more inclined to do the "just trust me" witch doctor thing.
