The description is a close rip-off of some auctions I saw a few weeks ago, a seller supposedly unloading items for a haunted house. Those items came from the basement. The seller in that one swore everything in the basement gave off bad vibes and would act strangely, escpecially the old dead person''s wooden cane.

If I remember correctly, it was the house of an old relative that died?

Anyway, his background and the word "haunted" were the exact ones used in this auction. Description very similar. I checked on the current seller's earlier auctions, nad not the same person.

I tried to do a search for closed items for "haunted" to see just how many sellers are using this new "tool" and to see how successful they are being. With over 4500 results in completed items, I tried to eliminate films, DVDs, videos, books, etc. I appears that one cannot include title and description in a completed items search. Drat! Inquiring minds want to know!

Hey I had a doll that would turn on by herself! I bought her and in the middle of the night she would start saying "pick me up". Scared the bejesus out of us! Wonder if I still have her packed away?
