Really makes me feel safe knowing that people like school bus drivers have access to this! I'm sure it's not legal to USE it for an urinalysis but think selling it might be legal. Curious that is says "200% guaranteed" ...maybe it isn't all that reliable.

Did you notice that the seller mentions DOT testing? He is aiming the ad at commercial truck drivers, in order for them to pass their yearly physical without drugs being detected.

My husband drives an 18-wheeler, so I noticed this right away.

I hate the idea of a drug user driving the "big trucks" as they call them. My husband's employer has had to fire drivers occasionally because they test positive for drugs. At least one was a falling-down drunk.

Substance abuse is not rampantly common in drivers, but happens more often than it should. I don't know the details of the law, but you can bet that falsifying the test is a federal offense.

It is unlikley that the eBay seller would ever be prosecuted, unless a big accident that garnered a lot of attention was caused by a driver he sold the item to. Technically, the seller could likely be charged with facilitating a crime.

Sounds to me like it isn't fake urine. I believe he's peeing into the containers and selling them. Simply warm them up and WHALA! Instant clean pee. Lovely!

There was a guy in North or South Carolina selling his "clean" urine and he was arrested and shut down. I'm not sure if there are any Federal laws against this, but some states it is illegal.

I work for a SAMSHA Certified Drug Screening Lab and I can tell you that those who purchased this "fake" urine did not pass their drug screen test. Our instrumentation is so sensitive...that those who try this fail! I can't believe eBay is allowing this to be sold.......shoot they shut me down for trying to sell weight watcher items. Go figure!

So your instruments are so sensitive that they can tell if the urine belongs to any particular person ? Yeah right.

Meadowlark and Pandacrossing are correct. This seller is pitching to big rig drivers. Every certified drug testing facility in our area has a technician that witnesses the sample collection. It's virtually impossible to pull a switch. If they have any suspicion that something is amiss, it's grounds for an immediate re-test. And it's more than the annual physical the driver has to worry about. Drivers in interstate commerce and many intrastate drivers are subject to random testing. I had one driver that worked for me that was tested 4 times in a thirty day period. Also, I could just imagine what would happen if a Highway Patrolman or a D.O.T. inspector happened to find one of those kits in a driver's truck.

I am betting that most would get caught just because they are too stupid to warm it first...

Urine isn't all that can be bought. They also sell a plastic bag that you tape to your leg or abdomen which has a clear tube that you paste/tape along your "unit" and unless the testing people are taking it out for you and holding it, they'll never know.

But I'd still like to know what sort of testing equipment can tell that you've given them someone else's urine.

Reamond, I think panda meant that the lab can detect "synthetic urine," not the person giving the sample.

I'm with sparkz on someone witnessing giving a sample.
When I took my stateboards for nursing you couldn't go to the bathroom alone, you were escorted & not allowed to close the stall door. If you are watched to prevent cheating on a test you are sure going to be watched giving a specimen for a drug test & if not then why bother testing at all. Anyone doing drugs is going to show up with someone elses "clean urine" if he can fill the container in private.

One would expect these items to be heavily regulated, if not outright illegal??!!

I have worked for the state since 1986. Being a CDL (commercial drivers license) holder I am in the random testing program. I have been randomly tested probably 20 times sine 1994 when it began. We are alone in a small bathroom with the door shut at the place we go to now. A cheat would have little trouble giving a bogus sample if his/her job depended on it......Luckily I havent been in that spot...

As I said, My hubby drives an 18 wheeler, and says that the DOT routine drug testing is required every two years. His company pays for him to have it done at a local independant facility that gives DOT drug tests. They allow the driver to take the sample privately in a small bathroom.

So, if a driver were to use the fake sample, the fact that it was substituted would at least not be known at the time of the submission. Perhaps other facilities are more stringent.

Medowlark,
as we have learned here there is different levels of how "Strict" some of these places are. If every agency/company/workplace took hair samples instead of urine I think the cheating would be reduced to 0%...

On the other hand I really dont think this age of testing is entirely fair. If I am at the ocean on vacation and smoke some weed and a week later come up positive for Marijuana during a random drug test what am I guilty of??? Being high on vacation??? Ultimately my workplace is dictating to me what I can or cannot do on my own time and I think thats bullshiiittt even though my weed days are long behind me...

The whizzinator disclaimer says in fine grayed out print:

The Whizzinator is to be used in accordance with all Federal, State and Local laws.

Yeah, right! They obviously know that their customers are breaking the law.

I had to laugh at some of the "testimonials"! More than one person acted like (due to size) they used it to "perform better in bed". I feel sorry for them! LOL!

I suspect some of the "testimonials" were actually written by the owner of the site. Some rang more true than others.

Anyway, thanks for the laugh!
