OH boy, this has been a morning. Thought I was going to get my FVF on an item. THOUGHT I was closing an item to get the credit. NOPE Closed it as a "dispute closed with both parties agreeing" with no credit given. Can't open up another one on the same transaction. Am I out of luck?

I did the same thing last week, it is so easy to "click" in the wrong place. I think the only consolation is that we will be much more careful next time!

Hi Paloma,
I did the exact thing as most people are doing these days. I contacted customer service explaining the situation, where they repaired my damage but stated that they would only give me the one time only. good luck. I as many others hate the new feature. You really have to stay on top of the new process. thanks, Rosanne

When I was in politics, a defining question we asked ourselves over every new proposal was: Who wins and who loses?

In this case, Ebay wins, we lose, with the new unpaid item disputes. Big business at its very best, eh?

I guess I must have been the lucky one here. I have found that ebay is not keeping up with their promise of being able to file for FVF after 7 days have passed from filing NPB. I have found in three cases, it was actually 8 1/2 days. Also you must read completely what you are clicking.

Kind of funny in a way. So many here complain about bidders not reading the descriptions of the auction and yet so many here are guilty of not reading the ebay FVF pages.
