Have any of you completed recently, filing for your FVF credit, then get paid late by the buyer and tried to file to get the 'strike' removed against the customer, and give ebay their FVF back?
I was wondering how to go about that, in the event that happens here soon ... and I couldn't find WHERE we are supposed to do that (with their newfangled npb/fvf system) ... so i asked ebay ... here is their reply:
You can remove an Unpaid Item strike by going to the site map and
clicking on the "Request final value fee credit" link located under the
"Seller Accounts" heading. Next click on the "View all Unpaid Item
Disputes I have filed" link and then scroll down the page and click on
the "View" link next to the item you want to reverse the final value fee
credit for and click on "remove the Unpaid Item."
If there isn't a link on that page it means that either the dispute did
not result in a strike originally or that the strike has already been
removed.

Why?
Take the money, ship the product and move on. If they continue to be "slow pay" they will get bounced from Ebay sooner or later. If was a one time deal will not matter.
If later they wine about feedback tell them they need to pay on time for that, and move on.

Yeah - screw ebay...oh yeah, and your own account as wel when the buyer forwards proof of payment on to ebay to remove the mark from their account and mentions that you refused to do it yourself cause you wanted to keep the refunded fees. Great advise.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?
