I picked up these 3 mugs at the weekend, and I am wondering if they are worth listing. Bottoms are marked "Made in USSR". Colors are bright, some gold loss on the handles. Anyone have any idea of age, obviously before USSR was split up, but I don't remember when that was.

search ebay closed auctions and see how they sell.
some folks collect USSR ,east Germany items.
you need to show the trademark better.

They're very pretty! A suggestion: I'd sell the two smaller ones together, and the larger one separately. JMHO.

I can't find anything on eBay that is similar, most of the USSR items are figurines. Thanks for the suggestion Roadsmith. The smaller ones are about cup size, would you call them cups or mugs?

it would sure help if they can see the trademark.
The most famous porcelain maker in USSR/Russia is lomonosov of st petersburg, before the revolution it was known as imperial lomonosov, now it is just Lomonosov.
Imperial Lomonosov is worthmore and hard to find.

This is the only mark on it, and I have no idea what it is.

Amber: Not knowing the height of these mugs/cups, I'm not sure what I'd call them. Someone here will have a good idea, though. I'd probably call the smaller ones cups--and the large one _____? A mug, perhaps, although I don't tend to call things this pretty, with gold and all, mugs, LOL.

The smaller ones may, depending on how big they are, be chocolate cups, part of a chocolate set.

I think Fluffy could help you here.
