Hi, I bought this thingy at a car boot sale. have no idea what it is. It weighs 275 gms is made of some kind of metal/steel with a hallmark just under his feet. I think it's something like WM? EP I/O OX. Perhaps it's electroplated. It's approx 5" high and 4" wide and is bolted on to the bottom piece that he's kneeling on. I think it was part of a bigger piece, it looks like it has been cut at the front of the base. Sorry about the crap pics (if they turn out!) I'm not very good at this!

Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

OK, they didn't appear. Sorry. Never posted pics before. How do I get them to show up?

Remove ".thumbs/"

Put [img*] at beginning and [/img*] at end of line. Do not use asterisks when you do it. I've put them there so my instructions don't go crazy on us.

ROFL Roadsmith !! I just love the first picture you posted....nuttin like a full moon.
I'd say this is a hood ornament...prolly made of Pot Metal plated with a silver tone. Looks like it mounts with the butt first lol so it's a novelty item ? meant to be a joke ? thats to funny. Reminds me of the little naked kids in those oil greek style lamps .The ones you plug in and the oil runs down fish line.

I would definitely describe him as a "Pixie" and anything pixie related seems to do well. It reminds me of something that went to a bird bath or well. He looks like he could be gazing down into the water or something. However, I had to chuckle at Classicrock's reply. I always laugh out loud at Classic's input. I think we'd get along well...love the "warped" sense of humor. Although I think my face would hurt from the continuous laughing.

I like to think of it as a Yugo hood ornament. Imagine staring at that butt whenever you get behind the wheel.

rofl classicrock000 ! That reminded me of a joke my high school chemistry teacher told us...it went
Once there was a mole family that lives near a farm. there was a papa mole, a mommy mole, and a baby mole. one day, old famer joe's wife was cooking breakfast. Papa mole leans out the door and says, "ahh, i smell bacon!" then mommy mole leans out the doorway and says, "umm! i smell eggs!" now baby mole tries to squeeze between papa mole and mommy mole, but can't past. baby mole says, "well, all I can smell is MOLASSES!"
