Edited because: I didn't post this so people could hunt down my auctions. I'll definitely know better next time.

Hi Cheryl,

Sorry to hear you're having problems with this nimrod. It would appear they can barely speak (or spell) the language and they are very confused. I'm not sure most people would even be able to decipher their email to you. I think your response was appropriate; however, if it were me, I'd probably just leave off the last paragraph about if I get a neg I get a neg (but I'm sure that was just a comment for us to see) and simply tell them that your description was accurate and they are not getting a refund...period! Although I might mention that all feedback is reciprocated (unless of course you've already left them a positive feedback).

Good luck with this numbskull.

Lynne

I'm not refunding. Period. No, I haven't left feedback yet. They have a FB rating of 1! She paid over $200 for the one thing she did win. She'll have to suck up the $15. She paid by PayPal, but I don't think PayPal will get involved with this one.

Yes, I love the spelling and the language.

Only thing I can think of, on the size of the larger stone, is that if the necklace was photographed from way below the large stone, sort of angled looking further up to the chain itself, the large stone may have appeared a bit larger than it is. But not enough larger to complain about!

And what does the buyer mean, "mall tone"?

I have no idea what mall tone is. The piece was photographed only at a slight angle to the right to prevent glare. I think we'll have a showdown here as far as feedback goes. Neg me, I don't care. For God's sake, get a grasp of the language. Might I suggest night school?

Maybe "mall tone" was supposed to be small tone?

Id' just delete that email and move on. Yikes.

You put "14k gold" in the title and then are outraged when you have a confused customer.

(Yeah, I found it. Took less than 5 minutes.)

I don't ever put 14k or 18k or any karat designation in the title for an item that is plated. I don't ever put diamond in the title for a cubic zirconia item.

Yet these are both common practices whose only intent can be to deceive.

If she read far enough to see the carat weight, she read far enough to see that it was plated. I couldn't fit EP in the title. All the spaces were used. AND, for 9.99 I wasn't going to add a subtitle.

Couldn't fit EP into the title, my fanny!

Cut the bull by-product, Cheryl.

But you sure know how to dress up junk jewelry auctions with names like Cartier and Harry Winston...neither of whom have anything to do with the jewelry. That's shameful. And trademark infringement, too.

More bad news for you, Cheryl: The transvestites and crossdressers you're trying to market to actually know something about jewelry, and goldplated junk doesn't cut it when they can get actual precious metal jewelry on eBay for about what you're charging.

Oh yeah, I picked up on the TS/CD "code".
"You privacy is always our business"...

The spelling police will be along any moment to clean that one up.

I assume you non-jewelry folk all know that "genuine stone" means nothing. If not, pay attention. "Genuine" rubies, garnets, sapphires, emeralds, etc. of extremely low quality are plentiful and cheap.

For your information, and it's really NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, this is my boyfriend's business not mine. I think he knows cross dressers far better than you do unless there is something you're not telling us. I used up all the letters in the title. There is no copyright infringement, IMO. I can use style of in my description. Sorry if I didn't type it in in one spot. However, it is fixed. So, if the auctions are messed with I'll know who to turn to?

Why don't you grow up a little? You DON'T intimidate me.

Edited because: I spoke when I shouldn't have. At least I can own up to it.

I'd post the number here, but my boyfriend said "no". I have to live with his wrath when I go against his wishes. I now know exactly who teach is (thanks to this thread) and I'm sorry I ever said I'd keep silent about something I'm just dying to tell.

Well, my other half has decided that if she's willing to allow the deduction of all fees from her refund, he will refund. However, he will not refund shipping and wants the item sent back Priority Mail with DC. That will net her about $8 in refund money once you take off the cost to send the item back.

I should know better than to let teach (er, I mean fluffy) get to me. BTW, I prefer dogs and birds to cats, especially those with rotten dispositions. Not even twelve has gotten to me like that on the RT board. LOL! Are ya reading this, twelve?

Thanks. I did the picture using a great new program I have called PhotoImpact XL. It's a lot like the Adobe program, but not as expensive.

Yes Cheryl, you should turn yourself in to the police for confusing people that can't read or write. Funny how they could understand 14K in the title, but nothing else in your description. It's all your fault!
