I signed up for Vendio gallery a few days ago, but on some of my auctions it is missing, so I was told to 'generate the HTML code' in gallery preferences. I found that, and got the code, but it says to put it into your "clipboard". I tried putting it in my auction description, but got an error message. I have no idea where or what my "clipboard" is. I am sure someone out there knows exactly what to do.

When you RIGH CLICK anything for COPY&PASTE, whaterver you right-clicked has been "COPIED" to yer "clipboard" hidden deep in the bowells of WINDOZE -- then ye "PASTE" it magically appears!
HERE is a FREE clipboard EXTENDER which adds super functionality to the boring one from BillG!

tomwiii I don't know where to paste it! This is what it says "To manually add the Vendio Gallery to your listings, copy the code below to the clipboard and paste it into the listing HTML" Putting into the auction description doesn't work, and I don't know where else to put it. It comes up on the final page, but when I try to submit, I get an error message.

Amber, you can put the CODE anyplace yer little heart desires -- just COPY (RIGHT-CLICK anyplace inside the code THEN click SELECT ALL then select COPY) the html & paste (RIGHT-CLICK within yer templete and select COPY) it into your listing!

I have the paste and copy down, but everytime I try and copy it into my eBay listing, it comes up with an error message. I've tried at the top and bottom of the description, but nothing is working. I am trying to do it with revising my listing, and then adding to the description. Is that what I am supposed to do?

whatnot3 yes, I tried that, but it was too big, but if I can't paste it into the description field, where else can I paste it? When I try, and check the preview it is there, but when I click "submit" there is an "unknown error" message.

Did you install the new Windoze SP2 by any chance??
If YES, then that may be part of da problem!
One of the quirks I've noticed with SP2 is that I cannot store the HTML for the VENDIO GALLERY with my templates!
I use FROGGY to launch, & it used to be NO PROBLEM!
NOW (ever since I installed SP2), if I try to store the VD GALLERY HTML in my FROGGY templates, I get an error & the GALLERY will NOT show up on feeBay!
What I have to do (& it DOES work) is this:
I store my templates WITHOUT the VD GALLERY HTML...
THEN, just before launching an auction, I insert the VD GALLERY HTML at top of my auction description & HIT the LAUNCH NOW button...
AND IT WORKS without any problems!
The VD GALLERY uses JAVA & there must be some bobo/quirk with SP2 that screws-up everything --

tomwiii no, I didn't install SP2, I have managed to add the gallery to items I have relisted, and it has appeared on my new auctions. The only clue is that all of the auctions that come up with an error message are under Pottery and glass > Pottery and China > other. For some reason it doesn't seem to like that category. I am wondering whether to cancel the auctions and try relisting.
