I can only get one window going. Usually I got into an auction on Vendio to open another window and then go into EBay. Nope - It goes back to the Vendio window ???

another thing, when I check on current auctions on EBay and then put an X in completed and then try to go back to current, the X stays there.

Anybody got any ideas. I have restarted and also did a hard reboot.

I was just working on a listing and went to the ebay preview and it said that the insertion fee was 1.20 for an eleven dollar item. Changed it to 99 cents and it said 35 cents for the insertion fee. I think some one has the fee schedule off by one step. Getting real sick of this!!

Oh never mind....operator malfunction!!! I knew all that side scrolling would get to me. I had hit 4 instead of 1.

I couldn't get it off complete last night. I had to start over with a brand new search. It was frustrating.

The poster was asking for help.
Why don't you take your cute stuff to the RT! Someone there will come back with something even cuter.

Yeah, sure, Tex...

Tom, if you do decide to head on down to the basement {which I can't imagine you doing in my wildest dreams} be sure you take Ralphie with you!

Okay, I'll be cereal. Wouldn't want to get in trouble with Tex.

Anyway, Niel, I'm not exactly sure what you're saying...

What browser are you using? I use IE and keep one window open for My eBay and a separate one open for Vendio. Once in a while I'll have a third window open, maybe when I'm watching an auction close or whatever.

For each window I want, I open my IE home page and go wherever I want to go. Then back to my IE home page and open another.

As far as changing an eBay search from Completed to Current, are you clicking the box to remove the X and then clicking on Show Items?

Well, I certainly have been put in my place!

Thank goodness we have the TEXAN THREAD POLICE monitoring us -- so nice to see a truly dedicated replacement for the MOD SQUAD!

Before Pecos Bill arrived here in the EO, we had nary a clue as to PROPER BEHAVIOR on our boards...

OTOH...

If ya donna like me-N-Ralphie, please feel free to activate yer IGNORE BUTTON...

Ralphie darlin - you chime in anytime you want. :}

Hey Lucy, - that is what I am trying to do. Keep Vendio open and also have Ebay open. No can do. I am on IE too. Will try your method of going to IE home page and opening other windows.

Yes I do unclick on the completed but it comes up as clicked.

Tom - you always have a great answer

Pecos Bill - cool down. these people are the greatest and always there to help us all out. When you have been pounding on the keyboard all day, putting up with changes in EBay and Vendio, well sometimes you need a good jab or a joke to relax you.

Hi Niel,

I just reread what I posted and maybe it's not clear...

I open one window from my IE home page.

Then I go back to the desktop, open the home page again and go to the next stop, Vendio or whatever. For a third one, it's the same deal, back to the desktop (or IE icon in the taskbar) and open.

I don't change from one window to another.

Sorry... must be too much Two-Buck-Chuck or thinking about Ralphie and Tom and our other Florida friends.

Lucy

Thanks all. I guess it's all about what you are posting. When someone put up a picture of Teresa Heinz Ketchup Kerry and compared her to Tootsie, it was, "Hey put that trash in the RT where it belongs." Including some of the same people who are laughing here. Tell me what's the difference in the "joke" here. Is the moral, don't make fun of a democrat but everything else is wide open?Take it to the RT!

The name of the board is "The eBay Outlook".

And Tom, I do like you and Ralphie. I like just about everyone. I have enjoyed your posts and even answered one of your comments in another thread, trying to be friendly. I fail to see the difference in what you all think should be in the RT and what should be on this board. Hope that you and Ralphie stay dry from Ivan.
Adios.

OhMsLucy: I refer you to your post in the other thread:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
Jwpc said: "I didn't post this in the "Round Table," because I NEVER go down there...."
Did it ever occur to you guys that there are people here who also avoid the RT and don't want
to see the EO trashed with stupid stuff like this?
I agree with Roadsmith.
If you can't get a moderator to get this out of the EO,
you might at least be polite and edit out the content of your posts.
Lucy
Edited to add some line breaks so my post doesn't scroll off to the right.
