Does anyone here know about customs payments people have to pay when they receive an item from the US? I'm sending a dollhouse to Canada and this is all new to me.
Thanks

It's HIGH - I was asked to mark as a gift and forgot so I offered to pay. $20.00 item and the customs was $12 or more.
Now I just tell them NO - I don't fudge on the customs and they pay - period.

It all goes by the dollar value on the item. Its not so much customs duty they pay but a tax.

If you can ship via post it will be cheaper. Anything send by Fedex or UPS will have a brokerage fee they have to pay.

Other than a custom sticker you have to put on its not a big deal to ship to canada.Just make sure you just put on the dollar figure for the item,[sale price] nothing more or less.
