I know that there are a lot of "socially conscious mutual funds." It's time to put your money where your mouth is. Some sellers won't sell to "international bidders". What about not selling to US bidders in protest of the election results?

Would European bidders bid more if the POS states "No US bidders due to election result. Overseas ONLY." ????

I'll try this on an experimental basis. It should motivate the Europeans and Asians to purchase items.

Where ever there is money I will sell to them. It is better putting your mouth somewhere else because you never bite the hand that feeds you. Personally I have more trouble with US buyers than foreign ones but that doesn't mean I am going to quit selling to them.

If your not making money then it's up to you but remember someone being president has nothing to do with your business. It is how you promote it, your follow through and the product itself.

Remember it is the US bidders that didn't vote. Maybe you should protest them but, how to determine which ones. Good Luck Besure and tell us how it is going as it should be interesting.

edited to add this should be in the RT.

I prefer holding my breath, stomping my feet and all else failing, drawing a warm bath and opening a vein.

I once tried a little critical thinking but the posters here about persuaded me otherwise.

Wow, she knows who Aeschylus is...
Quick what did he write? Did he win the prize at the festival that year and what was the trilogy about? Quick, what significance did he introduce to become the "father of theatre" and don't mix him up with Thespis.

...anyhow, it's not "bite the hand that feeds you" that's just propaganda.

Lets see.. The trilogy,The Oresteia...The competition: Great Dionysa and he won it quite often, 10-12 times as I remember...though Sophocles aced him one year..."The Father of Tragedy" was responsible for the introduction of the second actor and generally for inventing the style of tragedy...costumes, language, theatrical presentation.

I had the good fortune to be taught by Doug Parker & Richard Lattimore...and I still have my notes around here..somewhere.

So, Jasper-ton, if you want to throw down cards..I've got aces.

If you restrict your sales strictly to Nigeria, Romania, Indonesia and Russia, you won't be in any danger whatsoever of having a Republican bid on your auctions.

I think I will save the environment and plant a Bush in Texas one day. I wonder if Dumbya would like my signed book of War & Piece, um Peace....ahhhhhhhhhhh heck no, he can't read between the lines in the sand where someone's baby's blood rolls out life far away in a homeland that thrives on war mongers all. It's my ball and I am going home ....home? Where is home? Before the elecion 10,000 Americans, were filling out forms to reside as such in Canada, going through the red tape etc, and after the election, 120,000 a day are now trying to leave the country. If we all left what would Bush do? Give himself a raise! We were young, we were boys, we learned cadence, we loved toys, we were in a country amidst the ashes, like the Phoenix rising but we were sinking, as we were ordered, boys to men were we. We were soldiers, pine box warranted, flag covered, amazing grace as the flag still laid there.........ratzbratzz~

I've read Lattimore, but there are better translations.
IMHO.
Isn't he dead now?

Have you read Lombardo?
Not bad.

Anyhoo, no worries, just vetting you a bit.

Hey...no problem...Brought back some nice memories.
Lattimore, I think, es muerto. William Arrowsmith, Lattimore, Parker & David Grene were all at UT(Grene still is, I believe)...quite a bunch.
I was a fledgiling...Parker was my favorite...truly funny & kind.

I've read of Lombardo's translation..some good things. Lattimore like Fitzgerald begins to creak...I will check him out.

Take Care

Sometimes a little socialism isn't bad... Today I saw that the flag was not flying at work. I thought... wow... I feel free from the fascism known as Superpatriotism http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0872864332/qid=1099972915/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/102-1921334-4574511?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

But seriously, we should be concerned about moral values in selling. It's called corporate ethics 101.

But given demographics, we may not ever know... http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm
