Jack ... you crack me up ...

so THAT'S where you been hangin' out the last couple months, eh? ... i don't think you really 'want' to find a lower-class dot.com to flock to ... just stay here, ok?

I only ever posted a few things over there back when this forum first mentioned craiglist ... all i got was one of those Romanian flakes that wanted to 'overpay' for an item and have me send the 'change' to a third party ...

i must say though, that there is *one* site this forum pointed us to about a month ago, we have been really enjoying!!! (i think kiara mentioned it?) ... not running into any low-lifes there ... .. the freecycle.com website ... it is pretty darn interesting ... so far, we have given away, an unused tablecloth, a fishing pole, a set of children figurines, two sets of silverware and cutlery, microwave oven, a baby's bathtub complete with rubber duckie .... and we have received, free, an electric hair straightener iron, toys and dvd's of my 15-mo old grandson's favorite tv characters (The Wiggles), a heavy beveled glass hanging light fixture, a set of college books, a white gas coleman lantern (complete with funnel and a half gallon of white gas), a camping cot, about 15$ worth of cigarette coupons, 3 NE Ohio multi-county map books, and 5 large boxes of "moving paper" for packaging up our ebay things.

and those are just the things i remember LOL ... i think a few more in and outta here too ...

if you don't live in the rural or boondocks area (like poor kevin at grannies) and haven't signed up for freecycle yet, you ought to give it a try ... tres` kewl!
