Does anyone know what this plate may have been used for? Should I clean it up? Looks like tarnished silver to me. Stamped EGYPT on the back. Thanks!

You're using the wrong brackets. Use the square ones.

I think you have to do the Caps for JPG and you had the letter o instead of number 0.

I changed thumbs to mids to make it a bit bigger. Hope this works.

You're welcome..... sorry I can't help you identify it. How big is it across? It's probably best not to clean it until you find out how old it is as it may be worth more if it's left as is. Hopefully someone else will know something about it.

The plate is 15" diameter. Looks like an offering plate to me but from EGYPT?

Can anyone tell if this is copper, silver or brass. I thought it was silver but when I look up vintage Egypt plates, they all talk about brass and silver plate. HELP PLEASE! I know nothing about this plate.
