Hi folks,
I am having the weirdest problem with auctions I am listing through Vendio. They all seem to be formatted as landscaped instead of portrait. This just became last week and has never been an issue. I have poured over every block of the standard Vendio/Ebay listing form and can't find where I may have checked a box or something. To see what I am talking about, look at recent auctions by Ebay seller "normsoscale". Any help is greatly appreciated.

I looked at your auctions and they look great to me! When you say "landscaped" nad "portrait" are you talking about the auction page as a whole or about the photos?

Either way the page and photos look great on my computer...could it be just your computer that is showing them like this?

Gorgeous photos! I too am confused by your "problem," having never heard of Vendio's formatting photos by landscape or portrait--only my camera has those options! Are you talking about the way the pictures and description are laid out? If so, you can go to "custom templates" and change the layout.

If not, the mystery deepens.

Greetings normsoscale and fellow-Mainer,

I see what you're talking about. I just checked auction #5937529282 and it is way too wide. I have a feeling it has something to do with the way your photos are set up in the auction. You have them all side by side, but I think maybe they should be stacked vertically to resolve the problem. Or put in a
break in between to resolve the issue. It's very difficult view it properly the way it is currently set up.

Good Luck!

I don't think it's a matter of portrait or landscape, but that the auction is too wide, leading to a horizontal scroll bar.

You probably should select the option to downsize your images (with a "click to enlarge" and I think it will solve the problem. If not, search for Plan C

Great pics, but too large. I think you need to downsize more before you download into Vendio. I use 550X375 as a rule for downloaading & have no trouble.

Thanks for the feedback. It is only present in the newest auctions. I have changed nothing! It is so weird...driving me crazy. Even the older auctions I relist are being formatted this way.

If you list through Vendio, try posting your problem in the Vendio Services area; a moderator should be able to help you.

If you upload your pictures into Vendio, perhaps you forgot to check "small" for the sizing when it came up in the uploading.

I viewed them first using Firefox and they were stacked vertically, then I used Internet Explorer and they are laid out linearly or side by side. I definitely prefer the vertical stacking.

I don't know how to fix the problem but I would guess it wouldn't hurt to change the template as Roadsmith suggested. The photography is excellent.

This happened on the 22nd and 23rd to auctions using a blank template the
wasn't inserted between the images. I fixed all of mine but 2 that already had bids.
