Already I am getting the whiny emails from people who except next day delivery at UPS ground prices.

The best one I received this morning was from a guy who claimed I charged his UPS account. First of all, how do I know his UPS account number? He paid with Pay Pal ect.....

Another one was from a woman who buys every year from me and each time she has a problem with the delivery and demands a refund. I forgot to block her.

errrrrr Just letting off some steam.

'Tis the Season...for all the impatient, demanding, complaining, etc., etc. buyers to come out of the woodwork.

I had an auction end last night at 9 p.m. EST and first thing this morning I get an email "I want to retract my bid because an unexpected expense came up". Well, she bid the darn thing up to the very last minute and now she's decided she wants to back out?! Gee...gotta contemplate my response to this one.

Almost makes one not want to list during the holiday season!

Hi cta: I had the SAME thing happen to me about a
month ago. This woman wanted to retract her bid
AFTER she won. Yeah, riiight. . .suuure. . .

I told her she owed me a total of $510 big ones
(yep, $510 dead presidents) and to pay up or else.
What happened? She never replied again. I got my
final value fees back (minus gallery/insertion fees)
and she got kicked off eBay.

She was the only bidder too.
Cost me $$$ in non-refundable fees.

Her User ID was "cornchipdip" - NARU now.

Just tell her that if she don't pay up, you are gonna
file for your fees and that you hope she gets kicked
off.

My experience last year with December selling was less than great, and I'm contemplating laying off now until free listing day. Shipping is slow, people are slower to pay, etc., and I start to feel anxious that they won't get their item in time for Christmas, if it's a gift. It might not be worth it for me this year.

Besides, I have my own shopping and cards to do yet. . . .
