I just got this message--

I am using this medium to notify you of my interest in purchasing your on behalf of my client . My client has specifically given me a quote and placed an order for your particular item, hence the need to get in touch with you for negotiations. I will want to ask if you would accept a PERSONAL MONEY ORDER or POSTAL MONEY ORDER from my client as a mode of payment. If yes , please forward your postal contact details, your telephone numbers and the name which you want the MONEY ORDER to be addresssed to . I am counting on your support in concluding this transaction within the shortest possible time. Regards nurule.
Thank you,
nistores12

Sounds really strange to me, especially since the item has yet to be "purchased".
The ID they wrote in on is located in Singapore and registered with eBay today. Reminds me of those emails I get once in a while wanting me to help a person escape another country by "holding" a large sum of money for them. Hmmmmm.. Smell fish??

Again, this is an old (at least 6mos) scam!

He sends you a phoney MO for double the amount agreed upon...& then "requests" that you send him the "change"

If yer blonde, ya do it & then yer bank informs you about the all-natural (rubber) composition of the MO

Send the email to feeBay & watch the bouncing NARU-BALL

Canned response to these scammers:

If you want to cash a check, go to a bank. If you want a really great item, see my eBay auctions.

Good day.

Listen to Tom on this one. It is a very old scam designed to sucker sellers into thinking they have made a great sale when they are really being left holding the bag.
