Surely this can't be for real!
"Hello, I'm going to buy a birthday gift for my girlfriend. A friend of mine forwarded me to Ebay and adviced to browse your auctions since he'd purchased some stuff from you lately. Could you advice me what can I expect to get for 300-750$? Cause I have no idea what is good and what is not in this field - I was brought up with LPs mainly..."

The thing is, this buyer sounds incredibly ditsy, and I'd worry that he might actually bid on something of mine--and then there'd be some problems. I'd ignore that one. Yup, he might be gleaning e-mail addresses, but I understand that buyers can only do 3 "ask seller a question"s per day, and that's a lot of work for three addys.
