Yikes. I've checked several; they're not there. Anybody else? My auctions started about an hour ago.

Hi,

I checked a couple of yours and there aren't any pics in the auctions. Your Vendio Gallery is showing up but those are probably not new pics.

Just checked my latest two auctions and the pictures are there.

Sorry, no hints on what might be wrong in yours... Just letting you know what I saw.

I just checked mine and they're all there. Check on a few of your most recently closed auctions and see if they have the pictures with them. If so, this could be something that just affects auctions launched today.

Not there yet. Do. not. panic. Adele.

Can't revise the newly launched auctions to add subtitles, either.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYIkes.

I have ten auctions launching tonight at five minute intervals. So far, three are active and all have pictures as they should.

Adele, methinks sumthin's not right...

Odder and odder. The Vendio Gallery pictures are my *current* new auction pictures.

I wonder. . . I signed up for the free month's trial of View Tracker today and cut and pasted into these auctions the html from View Tracker. I wonder if there's any connection at all.

I'm going to take out the html in one of the auctions and see if that makes a difference.

Removing Viewtracker's html didn't make a difference; the pictures still aren't there.

It's hard not to panic, but I'm going to try.

It looks as if you forgot to hit the attach button for the images when you created the auctions, but I know that can't be it because you wouldn't screw up that many times in a row. Also, the portions containing customer comments and your payment terms on international shipments is missing, although it is showing up in the source view. My guess is that there is an HTML problem, or a problem at Vendio. You might also want to check your preferences and make sure nothing got deleted or messed up during their last enhancement Friday night.

Well, I've ended all 24 of my auctions tonight. I checked my preferences and nothing has changed. I have to think it's ViewTracker. I went to their site (and half the time it won't accept my login!), and there's no place there to cancel my "free" 30-day trial. Boo to them.

Tomorrow is another day! I'll see if I can fix what's wrong and start over. I hate it when this happens. Listing fees for 24 auctions right down the tubes.

Do you manually put their script into your auctions, or did you give them your username and password to do it automatically? If the latter, just change your Ebay password and they can't attach anything to your listings. Also, if you contact billing at Ebay right away with a list of the auction numbers and the reason for cancellation, there's a good chance they will credit your listing fees for the nuked auctions. When you redo your auctions, list them manually one at a time and check each one before listing the next. You want to make sure it's not a problem in your Vendio account so you won't have to end them all again.

The welcome message you got from view tracker tells you how to cancel.

When I used them I had auto withdraw from Paypal and had to go thru the paypal website to cancel.

Sparkz and ewora, thanks for your good advice! Sparkz, I had manually put the tracking html in each auction because I was at the beginning of using the 30-day free trial - it hadn't gone into effect yet. So . . . I manually ended each auction, relisted each auction after going into each one on the relisting site and deleting the tracking html, listing to start tomorrow night and making sure the photos were back in. God, what a mess. I'll think twice before trying AuctionTracker again. (I'd tried it for a month last summer and liked it, though.)

Ewora: I'll retrieve that welcome message and tell them to stick it in their ears. (See how mean I get late at night? My neck is stiff from the tension of doing all this stuff. Two-buck Chuck, here I come.)

Schedule one or two of those auctions to launch 1/2 hour ahead of the rest so you can examine them and make sure they are o.k. If anything is wrong, you'll have a chance to unschedule the rest and do further editing. The two buck chuck approach sounds like the best idea any of us have come up with tonight

Thanks, Sparkz. I have staggered the auctions and trust me, I definitely will end them if they're still messed up.

This is one of those evenings when I wonder why I'm doing this! Higher fees, lower bids, etc. etc. I'll feel better after my Two-Buck in a couple of minutes though.

I REALLY appreciate your help - as always. You are very kind!
